SUMMARY:The James Hunter Six
DESCRIPTION:The James Hunter Six \nEarly Show | $75 Main Room Seating – $30 Bar Seating \nLISTEN TO THE JAMES HUNTER SIX\nOff the Fence by The James Hunter Six marks a significant milestone in James Hunter’s career\, reflecting his past\, present\, and future. The album arrives 40 years after his 1986 debut and features a notable collaboration with longtime supporter Van Morrison\, who lends his voice to “Ain’t That a Trip.” \nHunter’s musical journey began in Colchester\, Essex\, sparked at age nine by a Jackie Wilson record that introduced him to soul music. Influenced by artists such as Ray Charles and Sam Cooke\, he developed a style defined by groove\, phrasing\, and understated wit. His early recordings with Howlin’ Wilf And The Veejays revealed a sound that was already fully formed. \nDespite industry challenges\, including struggles to secure a record deal\, Hunter’s breakthrough came with People Gonna Talk\, which earned a Grammy nomination and topped the Billboard Blues Chart. His career has since expanded internationally\, performing alongside artists such as Aretha Franklin and Willie Nelson. \nWith Off the Fence\, his eleventh studio album\, Hunter continues to blend soulful vocals\, sharp songwriting\, and rhythmic precision. The record reflects his enduring commitment to groove\, storytelling\, and the emotional depth that defines his work. \n

SUMMARY:Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio
DESCRIPTION:Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio \nEarly Show | $75 Main Room Seating – $30 Main Room Standing/Bar Seating \nDelvon Lamarr Organ Trio\, also known as DLO3\, specializes in the lost art of “feel-good music.” Each performance is carefully shaped by Delvon Lamarr\, creating a unique experience based on the energy of the audience. Drawing from 1960s organ jazz in the style of Jimmy Smith and Baby Face Willette\, along with the soul-driven grooves of Booker T. & The M.G.’s and The Meters\, their sound blends elements of Motown\, Stax\, blues\, and more. The result is a dynamic mix that connects deeply with listeners and leaves a lasting emotional impact. \nThe band features organist Delvon Lamarr\, a self-taught musician with perfect pitch who developed his voice through a deep study of jazz and multiple instruments. The trio is rounded out by a rotating lineup of guitarists and drummers\, each bringing their own style while maintaining the group’s signature sound. \nFormed in 2015 by Delvon and his wife and manager\, Amy Novo\, DLO3 has grown from humble beginnings into an internationally touring act. The trio has released several Billboard-charting albums and performs to sold-out audiences around the world. Delvon Lamarr was also named Rising Star Organist of the Year in the DownBeat Critics Poll. \nLISTEN TO DELVON LAMARR ORGAN TRIO

SUMMARY:Antibalas
DESCRIPTION:Antibalas \nEarly Show | $75 Main Room Seating – $30 Main Room Standing/Bar Seating \nAntibalas\, the Brooklyn-based musical collective known for its powerful Afrobeat sound\, was conceived by Martín Perna in Mexico City and formed in New York in 1997. Drawing early members from the Dap-Kings orbit\, the group quickly developed a distinct identity rooted in politically charged Afrobeat\, deep grooves\, and expansive horn arrangements. \nTheir early years were spent performing in alternative spaces across New York\, building a following before establishing a long-running residency in Tribeca. With the self-release of Liberation Afrobeat Vol. 1 in 2000\, Antibalas launched an international touring career\, appearing at major festivals including Glastonbury\, Montreux\, and Newport Jazz. \nOver the years\, the band has released a series of acclaimed albums\, including Who Is This America\, Security\, and Fu Chronicles\, the latter earning a Grammy nomination for Best World Music Album. Members of Antibalas also contributed to the Tony Award-winning Broadway production FELA!\, further extending the group’s cultural impact. \nContinuing to evolve\, the band recorded new material in Brooklyn\, culminating in Hourglass (2025). Known for their dynamic live performances and collaborative reach\, Antibalas has worked with artists including Angelique Kidjo\, Mark Ronson\, and The Roots\, remaining a vital force in global music. \nLISTEN TO ANTIBALAS
