SUMMARY:JAS Community Night - Local Showcase - Jaidyn Hurst & Writers Round w/ Inspire Aspen Students
DESCRIPTION:Local Music at the Paul JAS Center – Free Admission!Every Tuesday\, we’re turning the spotlight on locals and community members! \nDoors at 5pm \nWriters Round w/Inspire Aspen Students – 5:30pm \nJaidyn Hurst – 7pm \nJoin us for a beautiful performance from local musician Jaidyn Hurst! Enjoy food and drink specials\, and a night of great music. \nJaidyn Hurst is a twenty-one-year-old American singer-songwriter from Aspen\, CO\, who has been writing her own music since her early teen years. She released her debut EP\, Seasons in 2022 at age seventeen\, after recording some of her original music in Nashville\, TN. The three songs led her to be discovered by Joel Kipnis of Pulse Music in New York City where she finished a ten-song LP and a six song EP with original songs by Jaidyn\, ultimately distributed through Sony Orchard. Jaidyn has had the opportunity to work with Grammy- award winning producer Khris Riddick-Tynes and separately with producers Kari Kimmel and Jackson Hoffman\, with whom she recorded “Love Me Like I Need\,” a song featured in the Netflix movie “The Wrong Paris.” \nJaidyn is a rising senior at Yale University\, pursuing a B.A. in Humanities and Political Science\, where she and her brother Jared Hurst are members of the Yale record label\, 1701. She has performed in Nashville\, Colorado and Connecticut\, both as a solo artist and together with her brother at public and private events. \nThough Jaidyn started playing piano and guitar as a young child\, she considers singing and songwriting as her main strengths. Her music and lyrics are deeply personal\, a reflection of her inner self\, a voice to her vulnerabilities and life’s pressures. Relatable to both young and wise souls\, her music illuminates the angst\, passions\, and aspirations of her generation. You can follow her on Spotify (Jaidyn Hurst)\, Instagram (@jaidynhurstmusic)\, TikTok (@jaidynhurstmusic) and visit her webpage (jaidynhurst.com). \n

SUMMARY:Orquesta La Brava
DESCRIPTION:Orquesta La Brava \nEarly Show | $75 Main Room Seating – $30 Bar Seating/Standing Room Only \n“OLB…The Dancers’ Orquesta in Colorado” \nOrquesta La Brava played their first performance in April of 2010 in the Great Denver area. Led by musical director Fernando Flores from Panama\, Orquesta La Brava embraces the vibrant percussive energy from the Caribbean\, along with the rawness of New York’s Spanish Harlem\, where Salsa was born. Celebrating the Golden Age of Salsa. Orquesta La Brava proudly carry’s Salsa music forward to a new generation of thirsty music goers looking for a live and percussively driven musical experience. \nOrquesta La Brava’s musical director\, Fernando Flores\, was born and raised in Panama with a hunger to play and represent the music of his childhood. Mr. Flores found himself putting together his musical life project of Orquesta La Brava\, named after the infamous “Salsa Dura” style\, played during Salsa’s golden age. OLB is made up of stellar musicians from all over the world via Denver. Mr. Flores has managed to lead his project to becoming one of Colorado’s hardest hitting and purest Salsa bands since its inception in 2010. \nOLB has participated in major events in Colorado such as the Denver Salsa Bachata Congress\, now renamed CALDAC. OLB has opened the stage to international artists such as El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico\, Los Van Van (Cuba)\, Luis Enrique (Nicaragua)\, Oro Solido (Dominican Republic). Also participated in several festivals in Colorado\, such as the Puerto Rican Festival\, Peruvian Festival\, Aspen Ideas (Aspen)\, Suave Fest\, and the 1st Latin beer festival in the USA. BASALSA in TACAW\, Glenwood Springs\, and many more. Not mentioned are the different performances in Denver clubs such as La Rumba\, the extinct Raices\, and cities as Boulder\, Fort Collins\, Colorado Springs\, and many others. \nOrquesta La Brava is known for always attacking the stage and their performances with passion and excitement\, leaving audiences hungry for more.

SUMMARY:TAE & the Neighborly
DESCRIPTION:TAE & the Neighborly \nEarly Show | $75 Main Room Seating – $30 Bar Seating \nHailing from Green Bay\, Wisconsin\, TAE & The Neighborly seamlessly blends the best of soul\, R&B\, pop\, and rock through vibrant instrumentation and TAE’s unforgettable vocals. \nThe band released their debut full-length record\, Self Help\, in 2024\, showcasing lyrics and soul-inspired arrangements that shed the malaise of a world that grows ever more grim for the places of joy that are never more than a mindset away. New listeners invariably latch on to the depth of TAE’s singular voice\, demonstrating a remarkable breadth of emotional highs and lows from the smoky speakeasy allure of “Carry On” to the gut-punching climactic peak of “Let It Rain”. \nHaving toured continuously since the release of Self Help\, the band has already in 2025 graced stages from the beloved “Shitty Barn” in rural Wisconsin to the revered halls of the Kennedy Center for the Arts in Washington DC. Highlights yet to come for this year include performances at the Rochester Jazz Festival\, Rhythm & Roots\, People Fest\, Mile of Music\, Sisters Folk Festival\, NPR Mountain Stage\, and more! \nIf you are looking for a slice from the layer cake of self lovin’\, soul searchin’\, and world changin’\, meet them where the music is made to be shared. \nLISTEN TO TAE & THE NEIGHBORLY
