Gregory Niemi
Greg Niemi is an engaging performer and educator originally from the Chicago suburbs. He recently graduated from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies (drum set), where he studied with with Steve Houghton, John Raymond, Greg Ward, and many other amazing faculty members. He has performed with Mike Rodriguez, Walter Smith III, Gordon Goodwin, Guilherme Ribeiro, and many others. During the summer of 2019, Niemi was the snare drum/drum set player for the Disneyland All-American College Band. During his studies at IU, Greg developed a passion for teaching, and began giving drum set and percussion lessons at Stafford Music Academy.
