Jazz Aspen Snowmass is seeking a full-time Database/Box Office Manager whose primary focus is the development, management and administration of JAS databases and oversight of ticketing. JAS currently utilizes Spektrix for donor software and AXS for ticketing software.

The Database Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing new data structures, managing existing databases, building new products through the database and connecting those products into JAS sales channels, controlling ticket inventories and financial reporting of ticket sales. Additional duties will include managing JAS Box Office sales both in advance of and at events including the JAS June and Labor Day Experience, the JAS Café and future JAS Center sales.

Must be detailed oriented, a fast learner, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced work environment. Full time with some nights/weekends required.

Position Requirements

  • Experience: Advanced experience with database management, proficiency in database administration, data imports and exports, and developing complex reports. Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Donor software administration, ticketing software administration and/or website administration experience is strongly preferred.
  • Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies.

Essential Functions

  • Build and maintain all events in Spektrix/AXS ticketing systems, including seating manifests, price tables, hold/kills, discounts, pre-sales, etc.
  • Input all events from Spektrix into appropriate JAS sales channels
  • Monitoring of all ticket inventory
  • Monitor all ticketing software and hardware and report any issues immediately
  • Provide reporting and database management for internal staff including but not limited to: integrate new coding on constituent records; capture research updates; import and export list segments and marketing codes; utilize report builder to support routine reports; update query criteria for targeted stewardship mailing lists, codes, and importing opportunities; year-end statement and enterprise zone processes.
  • Ensures data integrity through regular database integrity work, monitoring and merging duplicate constituent records and monitoring for redundancy in code tables.
  • Software administration and maintenance on Spektrix platform
  • Manage all information being sent and posted through ticketing system
  • Responsible for system upgrades, occasional testing of new software and routine maintenance and trouble-shooting
  • Process/fill approved charity ticket requests; document all complimentary ticket issues
  • Manage donor reserved seating and ticketing at select events
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external customers
