Aspen Community Events at the Paul JAS Center
Free Community Nights Every Tuesday
Live Local Music, Open Mic Nights, DJs, Artist Workshops & Discussions, Family Programming, Movie Nights, Games and much more! The Paul JAS Center is Aspen’s newest local gathering spot, with activities for audiences of all ages taking place throughout the year. Join us every Tuesday for Local’s Night. Starting at 5pm we’ll be open with drink and food specials and rotating weekly entertainment!
Thank you for a great winter season and joining us to build community and make the Paul JAS Center a local’s spot!
Community Nights will run until April 14, 2026. We are taking a break for the spring, but will return with a full schedule in June 2026.

Education Celebration
On April 7th as part of our free Tuesday Community Nights, we will be celebrating our music education programs, students and teachers.
The evening will include live music from many of the local musicians who work in our public schools as part of our In-Schools Instructor Assistance program as well as students who have benefited from JAS programming directly.

JAS launched its acclaimed music education programs in 1996 with the Thelonious Monk Institute Jazz Colony, which became the JAS Academy Summer Sessions in 2000-2008 ….the nation’s only all-scholarship summer training program for gifted young emerging jazz artists.
