A New Cultural Hub
Impact
A Year-Round Home for Music, Learning, and Community
The Paul JAS Center is poised to become a vibrant, year-round hub for the community. Since opening in December 2025, the Center has brought new energy and connection to Aspen’s downtown core, providing a welcoming space designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and celebration.
As a creative home for diverse musical performances, educational programs, and both public and private gatherings, the Center enriches the cultural life of the Roaring Fork Valley while creating opportunities for people of all ages to come together through music, learning, and shared experiences.
Community Space & Events
A new heartbeat for downtown Aspen
The Paul JAS Center provides increased cultural and performance capacity in town. The Center has proven to be a unique, intimate venue that complements Aspen’s larger stages, a much-needed meeting and gathering place for the community, and a space that will impact and serve generations to come.
The Paul JAS Center features 6,000 square feet of multi-use space, with a prime location in downtown Aspen, along the Cooper Mall. An ideal location for all kinds of events, from classes and meetings to retreats, conferences, performances, celebrations, and more!
Classroom
A permanent, creative learning environment for students of all ages
Our commitment to music education in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond supersedes a physical space, however, with the Paul JAS Center, we now have a permanent venue where students and adults can listen, learn, rehearse, experiment, debate, perform & exchange ideas.

A studio for recording, teaching & broadcasting
The unique integration of a live performance venue, The JAS Cafe, and a state-of-the-art recording studio under one roof creates unparalleled opportunities for artists and audiences alike.
