GRAMMY -nominated Singer and Drummer Jamison Ross will join India.Arie for six shows of the 2019 Worthy Tour. The tour is in support of the four-time GRAMMY winning artist/songwriter’s latest album WORTHY. The tour kicked off April 30th and visited cities in the U.S. and Canada through the summer with Jamison and his band set to open in the following cities:

“I am extremely grateful to India.Arie for extending the invitation to open for her as part of the 2019 Worthy Tour. I am a long-time fan and honored to have this opportunity” said Jamison. “I’m looking forward to showcasing my musical concept of rhythm and melody and introducing concert goers to Jamison Ross – as an artist and as a person.” This will be Jamison’s first tour as a support act for an R&B artist.
The 2012 Thelonious Monk Jr. International Jazz Competition winner made his mark in jazz with his 2015 debut release JAMISON which earned him a GRAMMY nomination for Best Jazz Vocal Album. His sophomore album, ALL FOR ONE, released in January 2018 and caught the ear of many of his industry peers, including India.Arie, and continues to propel his touring with stints in the U.S, and Europe through the end of the year.
Jamison can additionally be seen on tour as part of multi-GRAMMY winning jazz fusion band Snarky Puppy, touring in support of their latest release, IMMIGRANCE.
