Jan Blomqvist is more than a DJ; he’s a wholehearted musician, singer, and producer, delivering his unique brand of electronic compositions live on stage. From his early days with grunge, wielding guitars and drums, to adapting to the digital age in Berlin’s music scene, Jan evolved into a virtuoso mastering a new mega-instrument, creating orchestral landscapes at his fingertips.

Jan played a pivotal role in the resurgence of singer-songwriter arrangements, real instruments, and intricate harmonies within techno and electronic music. His impact resonates globally, having graced the stage at Coachella three times, becoming a Burning Man mainstay, and drawing massive crowds at festivals and club shows around the world.

Following the release of his third studio album, MUTE, in early 2025, Jan and his band completed a highly successful world tour, performing more than 30 headline club shows across Europe and the Americas, with nearly every date sold out. The MUTE Tour showcased his signature mix of emotional vocals, melodic depth, and immersive live instrumentation.

With more than 1,000 performances to his name, Jan continues to bridge underground authenticity and global success. In 2026, he opens a new creative chapter with an acoustic reinterpretation album featuring new versions of his most iconic songs alongside fresh original material, continuing to define the intersection of melody, emotion, and electronic innovation.
