Fan named “The African Sting”, Richard is a rare African artist that has established himself with an unscalable reputation on an international platform. His international popularity is something to be noted. So this week we are highlighting the Richard Bona video that caught the attention of JAS CEO/President, Jim Horowitz and the rest of the JAS team, when booking for the new June Experience.
In 2015, Richard Bona performed at the
Jarasum Internationl Jazz Festival, in central South Korean town, Jarasum. The festival began in 2004 with 30 teams of jazz artists from 12 different countries. Well established as a significant international festival; every year over 100,000 people attend, with 95% of the attendees being previous attendees. Richard’s upbeat and funky performance drew in over 40,000 people who were getting DOWN and dancing! The video below shows about 20 minutes of his performance with shots of the audience, who were genuinely having THE BEST TIME!
