Sticks and Stones is the most recent critically acclaimed album from Lukas Nelson. Written solely by Nelson with the hope of bringing people together at the forefront of his mind, bringing upbeat energy and a sense of fun. With the record, the Grammy Award-winning artist continues to achieve success at radio as his single, “Sticks and Stones,” reached #1 on the Alt Country chart and #7 on the Americana Singles chart, while “More Than Friends,” featuring Lainey Wilson, reached #1 on the Americana Singles chart earlier this summer. The Black Crowes are leaving the bullshit in the past. 15 years after their last album of original music, the Robinson Brothers present Happiness Bastards – their 10th studio album. Some may say the project has been several tumultuous years in the making, but we argue it’s arriving at just the right time. Call it brotherly love or music destiny that brought them back together, the highly anticipated record consecrating the reunion of this legendary band just may be the thing that saves rock & roll. In a time where the art form is buried beneath the corporate sheen of its successors, The Black Crowes are biting back with the angst of words left unsaid penned on paper and electrified by guitar strings, revealing stripped, bare-boned rock & roll. No gloss, no glitter, just rhythm and blues at its very best – gritty, loud, and in your face.
Since The Black Crowes reunited in 2019, they’ve made a triumphant return to form with over 150 shows spanning 20 countries worldwide, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Shake Your Money Maker, the album that put them on the map. Upon their return from the road, they knew they needed something new to show for their lost time. The Robinson Brothers and longtime bassist Sven Pipien headed to the studio with producer Jay Joyce in early 2023 and the experiences of years past transcribed themself through the music as the band found their way back to their roots. And it’s finally here – Happiness Bastards is out on March 15, 2024.
After building up buzz independently and attracting a growing fan base, Ohio singer, songwriter, and artist Michael Marcagi announces his signing to Warner Records.
On the anticipated new single, entitled “Scared To Start,” which has received an overwhelmingly positive response on TikTok, bright guitar echoes through a steady tambourine-driven beat. Marcagi‘s dynamic delivery takes hold on the verses, while his storytelling immediately transfixes.
“‘Scared to Start’ is a song for the adventurers, the travelers, and the people who look forward without dwelling on the uncertainties of life,” Marcagi says of the track. “It’s about taking the risks and putting yourself out of your comfort zone, regardless of what the rest of the world has to say.“
Michael recently made waves with his first solo single, the fan-favorite “The Other Side.” Since its release last month, the track has gathered millions of streams and counting. Right now, he’s preparing more music for release in 2024.
Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Michael Marcagi arrives with an emotional and engaging tale to tell. He emerges out of the heartland as an eloquent, artful songwriter and captivating storyteller with a whole lot to say.

RORY moved to Nashville from southern Rhode Island in the summer of 2021 with one goal: to continue making music. At twenty years old, she had just competed in Season 19 of American Idol, where she earned a Golden Ticket and performed her way through two rounds of Hollywood week. Meeting other Nashville-based artists was the spark that piqued her interest in Music City, and ultimately gave her the confidence to make the move.
2023 was a milestone year for RORY. She released three singles, “Happy Birthday,” “Take a Joke” and “Secondhand Therapy.” Lyrically, her debut tracks uncomplicate the angst of adult girlhood, approaching the complexities of being alive with a nonchalant Northeastern edge
2024 is on track to be a pivotal year for twenty-three-year-old RORY. She will be releasing her debut EP, which blends indie-pop beats with poetic softness, creating a tension that is deeply reflective of the trappings of early-twenties selfhood. The flexibility of her tone allows her to traverse a wide range of emotions, from hesitance to readiness to skinned-knee momentum.
