Jamison Ross B-3 Trio
Jamison Ross B-3 Trio
GRAMMY-nominated soul artist Jamison Ross creates contemporary soul music at the intersection of R&B, gospel, and blues, supported by modern production. His sound draws inspiration from some of history’s greatest soul singers, including Marvin Gaye, Rance Allen, and Al Green, blending smooth vocal melodies with soulful arrangements.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Ross honed his talent at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts before attending Florida State University and earning a Master of Music from the University of New Orleans. Shortly after graduating, he released his self-titled debut album, Jamison (2015), earning his first GRAMMY nomination.
In 2019, Ross and business partner David S. Hargrett founded Affective Music, a soul-focused record label and management company dedicated to defining the sound of soul for a new era. Later that year, Ross produced Mykal Kilgore’s debut single, “Let Me Go,” earning his second GRAMMY nomination.
With his distinctive ability to combine expressive vocals, rich musical influences, and contemporary production, Ross brings a refreshing approach to soul music that resonates with audiences across generations.
