Shelly Berg

Shelly Berg is a Steinway piano artist and five-time Grammy-nominated arranger, orchestrator, and producer. His latest album, Alegría, recorded with bassist Carlitos Del Puerto and drummer Dafnis Prieto, was released in July 2024 and has been praised as “buoyant joy” and “an instant jazz piano trio classic.” His original composition “At Last,” from the album, received a 2025 Grammy nomination for Best Instrumental Composition.

An award-winning educator with more than 40 years of experience, Berg is Dean and Patricia L. Frost Professor of Music at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. He previously led jazz studies at the University of Southern California and served as president of the International Association for Jazz Education.

Ashley Pezzotti

Ashley Pezzotti is a rising voice in the New York jazz scene, blending elegance, rhythmic sophistication, and a sense of joy rooted in the tradition of great jazz vocalists. In her early career, she has already toured and recorded with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, as well as with artists including Arturo Sandoval, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Joey Alexander.

Born to Dominican roots, Pezzotti writes and performs original music in both English and Spanish, creating a sound that bridges classic jazz influences with a contemporary perspective. Her voice, known for its warmth and control, has carried her to prestigious venues around the world, establishing her as an emerging international presence.
