Born Troy Andrews, Trombone Shorty started performing in New Orleans at just four, leading his own brass band by six, and touring as a teenager. Known for his magnetic stage presence and genre-blurring style that fuses funk, soul, rock, and jazz, he has released five chart-topping albums, performed with Pharrell, Bruno Mars, Foo Fighters, and Ringo Starr, and appeared at major festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Newport Jazz.

A proud New Orleanian, Shorty leads his own Mardi Gras parade, hosts the annual Treme Threauxdown, and closes the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. He also champions youth music education through the Trombone Shorty Foundation and cultural exchanges in Cuba, while touring worldwide with electrifying performances.
