Veronica Swift has established herself as one of her generation’s defining voices in jazz. Raised in a musical family, she toured nationally with her parents, jazz musicians Hod O’Brien and Stephanie Nakasian, performing at venues including Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, Jazz Standard, Jazz Showcase, and the Telluride Jazz Festival. She recorded her first album at age nine and has built a career spanning two decades, highlighted by a second-place win at the 2015 Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition, a twice-yearly residency at Birdland, touring with Chris Botti and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, and recording with Jeff Goldblum.

Her 2026 album Home reflects a personal journey through loss, identity, and belonging, exploring the meaning of “home” through a wide-ranging repertoire.
