AS FRIEND & FAVORITE CHRISTIAN MCBRIDE MAKING MULTIPLE ASPEN APPEARANCES THIS WEEK!
World-renowned bassist, former JAS Academy Artistic Director and one of the greatest jazz musicians on the planet, Christian McBride returns to JAS this week! McBride and his Trio, which includes former JAS Academy Students Christian Sands (piano) and Ulysses Owens, Jr. (drums), will perform this Wednesday and Thursday at the JAS Cafe Downstairs at the Nell. On Friday night Christian takes to the turntables as the special guest DJ at JAS’ 25th Anniversary Benefit: “Le Freak Lounge.” With a fun mix of funk and dance music, Christian will DJ both prior to and following the main concert with Chic featuring Nile Rogers.
