Thursday – June 26
5pm – This year things look a little different, with Thursday having only the Rio Grande VIP Tent show, exclusive to VIP passholders, that includes cocktail hour, heavy d’oeuvres, and a high energy show by Cool, Cool, Cool.
Friday – June 27
Noon-9 pm – Starting at Noon, swing by the Wheeler Opera House, where the JAS Box Office will be set up to grab your wristband, which will allow you entrance to all participating general admission venues as well as the late shows in the VIP tent. Be sure to grab your Official Experience program while you are there! Even better, download our app now for info on all bands and venues and nightly updates on venue capacities!
5pm – Get Day 1 started at the Limelight Aspen with our very own JAS Street Horns Band!
5:30pm – Short walk will take you to the Wheeler Opera House to catch legend Marcia Ball
6:45pm – Pop out a little early and cross the street to catch Matt Schofield over at Gravity Haus and while you’re at it, you can also check out Salin at Unravel
8pm – Next up, 5 min walk and head over to Bad Harriet to dance with Alex Cuba or you can pop up by Felix Coffee to see guitarist/vocalist Raul Midon – or, why not, both?
8:45pm – You’re already dancing, and need to keep it going… your next stop should be Dumpstaphunk at the Aspen Art Museum for a high energy not-to-be-missed New Orleans show!
10pm – Nigh one has been incredible, and the cherry on top should be no other than guitar powerhouse Samantha Fish at Belly Up.
Saturday, June 28
5:30 pm – Hopefully you got the two day pass and are ready for one more stroll through the neighborhood, starting with blues legend Christone “Kingfish” Ingram at the Wheeler Opera House.
6:15pm – You can pop out a little early and take a short walk to the Limelight to see Christian Mcbride, Benny Green & Dan Wilson: Remembering Russell Malone show.
From the limelight, take a one block stroll to The Sterling Aspen and switch the mood into a dance one with Parlor Greens.
Between 8 and 8:45pm the opportunities are endless – We have a show for every taste!
Feeling more in a jazzy and relaxing mood? The 8pm Calabria Foti show at the Wheeler Lobby is for you!
Want to listen to some Afro-beat before the end of the weekend? At 8:30 OLATUJA will bring the heat at Unravel, and get you moving!
Next door at Gravity Haus, at 8:45 Japanese trumpeter Takuya Kuroda will be delighting us with his unique hybrid sound, blending soulful jazz, funk, post-bop, fusion and hip hop music.
Also at 8:45 you can choose between heading to the Aspen Art Museum for soul singer, songwriter, and Broadway actress Morgan James OR head to the Rio Grande VIP Tent, where dynamic vocalist Shayna Steele will blow bring the soul!
10pm – You know you’re not ready to go home yet! Not until you swing into Belly Up for Tank & The Bangas. The perfect party to end your night.
