At this time, JAS is still planning on presenting its 30th Anniversary Season JAS June Experience, scheduled for June 25-28, 2020, at multiple downtown Aspen venues, as well as the summer season of JAS Café July 9 – Aug. 16. The full schedule of Artists for JAS June is available here https://jazzaspensnowmass.org/june-experience.html. The full schedule of JAS Café Summer Season is available here https://jazzaspensnowmass.org/jascafe.html.
“Our ability to stage the events as scheduled rests on multiple factors: Primarily, on the timing of the State of Colorado lifting its current mandate against public gatherings of more than (10) persons, as well as the prevailing public health standards, and emerging standards for live events from our peer presenting organizations around coronavirus. The health and safety of all JAS artists, audiences and staff is our main priority,” stated JAS President & CEO Jim Horowitz. “We sincerely hope to be able to serve the community and help start the healing process with JAS June 2020.”
There is not a definitive timeline for making the final decision at least on June JAS Experience 2020 beyond “likely sometime in the second half of April.”
Plans remain in place for the JAS Aspen Snowmass Experience over Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 4-6, subject to all the same conditions as those affecting June JAS & the JAS Café Summer Season.
We encourages you to go to the JAS website www.jazzaspensnowmass.org for up to the date information on the ongoing status of all JAS events and programs.
Take care, we hope to see you soon!
