Multiple Shows Every Day

The Experience includes multiple staggered shows every day from June 25 through June 28, giving you the opportunity to see your favorite artists, check out someone new, or experience it all!

11 Unique Venues

All 12 venues are within a short walk in Aspen’s downtown core. That makes it easy to stroll around town and enjoy a full night of diverse music genres and settings, all within a comfortable range of one another. Each of those venues offers something new: intimate gatherings, spontaneous listening choices, movement, and so much more. With so many to choose from, you’ll be hard-pressed to select your favorite at the end of the event.

Incredible Artists

From Grammy winners and nominees to international artists who only rarely perform in the USA, there’s truly something for everyone at the JAS June Experience. Furthermore, many artists are performing multiple shows throughout the weekend, so you’ll have plenty of chances to catch your favorite.

Beyond the Music: Workshops, Panels, and Other Activities

The JAS June Experience doesn’t stop with the shows alone. Plenty of other activities take place throughout the weekend, allowing you to take your experience beyond the music to the next level. Wrap up your weekend with the incredible Sunday Brunch! Enjoy the music with a delicious brunch, bloody Mary, and mimosa bar. There are 10 am and 12:30 pm seating at the Paul JAS Center VIP.

Where is the JAS June Experience located?

The JAS June Experience takes place across multiple venues in downtown Aspen — all within easy walking distance, creating a fun, music-filled “pub crawl” style experience around town. Current participating venues include the Paul JAS Center, Aspen Art Museum Rooftop, Belly Up, The Wheeler Opera House, Hotel Jerome, Limelight Hotel, and more. Additional venues may be added as the event approaches.

How do I get to and from each show?

Will there be food and drink available for purchase during the shows?

What is seating like and will there be room for dancing?

Each venue will have a different seating plan. Some will include bistro style and high-top tables and seating, some will have rows of chairs near the stage and some will have standing room only sections. All venues will include at least one style of seating option, though at some venues seating is limited and first come first serve. Certain venues will have room for dancing and will be programmed with danceable music accordingly.

Are all the venues inside/will weather affect the festival?

All the venues are indoors, however weather will affect your commute between shows. The event is in the High Rockies of Colorado in the summer time. Thunderstorms and drastic weather changes are known to occur quickly. The temperatures also drop significantly during the evenings. Please make sure to bring layers and dress appropriately for your walks to and from venues.

Where should I stay?

Aspen offers a wide range of lodging options to suit every style and budget-from luxury hotels and cozy boutique inns to charming vacation rentals. Whether you want to be steps from the festival or don’t mind a scenic drive from nearby towns like Basalt or Snowmass, there are plenty of choices. Book early-accommodations fill up fast during festival season!
