Michael Ramos
Michael Ramos is a bassist living and working in Miami, Florida. He has been active in the Miami music scene since high school, and has performed a variety of musical styles in venues across the state of Florida. In addition to regular work in his hometown, he has also performed at Florida Music Educators Association state conferences in Tampa, the Telluride Jazz Festival, and the Music for All Festival in Indianapolis.
Michael was a National YoungArts Foundation Winner three years in a row (2018-2020) and has performed with artists such as Wycliffe Gordon, Ed Calle, and Ira Sullivan. He has had the good fortune to work under the direction of esteemed musicians such as John Daversa, Ron Carter, and Shelly Berg. He is currently pursuing a degree in Studio Music and Jazz at the Frost School of Music, Class of 2023.
