All funds raised through The Band will go to support JAS Advisory Board’s initiatives including Private Lesson Funds and support of the JAS Beat Lab capable of professional grade recording and composing.

In addition to the benefits listed above Band members will be asked to assist in creating and implementing innovative fundraising initiatives in support of JAS Music Education and Performance Programming. In 2015 the JAS Advisory Board and Band have started a fundraising initiative to raise money for the JAS Beat Lab.

The Beat Lab, a new program that JAS began at Glenwood Middle School in 2014, gives small groups of students an opportunity to compose music online then share in social communities. Funds raised by Band Initiatives will help JAS expand this modern music theory application into additional schools throughout the Valley, while providing them with the hardware needed to be successful. Look for upcoming Band Fundraisers in the near future and help us bring this reality to life!
