JAS’s summer music education benefit will take place Friday, July 21 at the Belly Up in Aspen. Enjoy a fun night celebrating the 50th anniversary of the music of Sly and the Family Stone. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees and band co-founders Jerry Martini and Greg Errico are joined by Phunne Stone, Alex Davis, Blaise Sison and Nate Wingfield in this dynamic, funky and energy filled show that celebrates the music of one of rock’s most ground-breaking bands.

Pivotal in the development of soul, funk and psychedelic music, the band is known for such hits as “Dance to the Music,” “Everyday People,” and “Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin). The Recording Academy just this week honored Sly Stone with a “Grammy Salute to Music Legends” performance by Grammy-nominee Charlie Wilson.
Enjoy a Spotify Playlist of some of the bands more iconic songs to get you in the mood for the JAS Summer Benefit Dance.

Benefit tickets include options for a 6 pm pre-concert dinner at Casa Tua or 8 pm dessert, drink and concert tickets for Belly Up. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 970.920.4996.
