Job Title: Paul JAS Center General Manager
Job Summary:
Jazz Aspen Snowmass is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations, staff, and overall guest experience at the new Paul JAS Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage management, hospitality, building maintenance and customer service, ensuring the Center operates efficiently, profitably, and in compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Management:
- Oversee the JAS Center’s daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, cleaning, maintenance, technology and security.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, liquor licenses, and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service, and ambiance.
- Manage bar inventory, ordering, and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless operations.
- Work with event manager and catering team on execution of all JAS events as well as outside rentals.
- Work with JAS core staff on Paul JAS Center community programming including educational experiences, family events, community outreach nights, jam sessions, etc.
- Attend weekly staff meeting with JAS core team.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including bartenders, servers and production team
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and ensure a high level of teamwork.
- Create an engaging and professional work environment.
Guest Experience & Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle guest complaints efficiently.
- Foster a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere that aligns with JAS’ brand.
- Manage VIP relations and high-profile guests to ensure premium service.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in nightclub, hospitality, or event management.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility: Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as required
