Just in time for the holidays JAS has released its initial Labor Day line-up and has 3-day general admission, JAS Deck and Patron (VIP) passes on-sale. The organization has also announced another support act scheduled to appear, blues/rock guitarist Gary Clark Jr.
Gary will join previously announced headliners Zac Brown Band and Lionel Richie, along with opening acts Michael Franti and Spearhead and Fitz and the Tantrums. Three acts still remain to be announced, including one headliner, for the annual event taking place August 31-September 2, 2018 in Snowmass, Colorado.
Austin-born virtuoso guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, Gary Cark Jr. released a new live album earlier this year, Live North American 2016, his second live album following 2014’s Gary Clark Jr. Live. Both albums chronicle Clark’s evolution on stage as his songs expand and find new life beyond the studio recordings. Must like the great blues, jazz, and soul legends of the past, these recordings are lightening in a bottle – historical moments in time for an artist who is every morphing and one of the truly great improvisers of his generation and our time. This will be Gary’s first ever JAS appearance.
