Summer in Colorado is full of opportunities to have fun. Labor Day may signal the end of summer, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to pack away the good times. You’ll find many ways to celebrate the long weekend and drink in the last days of summer.

Jazz Aspen Snowmass (JAS) was created almost 30 years ago to promote the joy of jazz in Colorado, and we love to celebrate Labor Day, too. If you want something to do this Labor Day, look no further than Jazz Aspen Snowmass.

Attend the JAS Labor Day Experience

The Labor Day Experience is an opportunity to enjoy an impressive slate of musical talent. You’ll see different music styles and performers, from local stars to living legends. Join us in Aspen from August 30 to September 1 to take in the extraordinary lineup of performers.

Music Lineup

On Friday, you can take performances by Lukas Nelson, son of Willy Nelson, at 6:00 PM, followed by Brandi Carlile at 8:00 PM. Come back on Saturday to enjoy Michael Marcagi at 3:00 PM, followed by the Colorado stars OneRepublic at 5:00 PM. The day ends with a concert by the unforgettable Sting that will begin at 7:30 PM.

Sunday brings husband and wife duo The War and Treaty at 3:00 PM, followed by The Black Crowes at 5:00 PM. To close out the weekend, you can’t miss Tim McGraw, who will perform at 7:30 PM.

Tickets

You can buy tickets for a single day or opt to enjoy the whole weekend with a three-day pass. General admission tickets include access to the JAS Village with numerous food and beverage vendors, the JAS Music Lounge, and for the kids JAS Kiddies Corner, which features face painting, clowns, games, and, of course, balloons! VIP tickets are also available. If you are interested in the VIP experience, please call 970-920-4996 to learn more.

Transportation

There is no parking on the festival site (with the exception of VIP passes). The bus is the easiest way to get to the festival, but you may utilize other modes of transportation such as hotel shuttles, Uber, Lyft, or a taxi. Make sure to check for local road closures or modified bus routes before you head out. You can stay up to date on all the latest information by visiting the JAS Labor Day website.

If walking or biking, take note that there is no longer an entrance on the west side of Brush Creek Road. All patrons should enter through the Town Park Lot.
