Jazz Aspen Snowmass and Jim Horowitz to be inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame

Jazz Aspen Snowmass (JAS) has just announced their 2025 Labor Day Experience line-up which will feature some of the biggest touring acts in live music today. But there is more than just the music to look forward to this year, as JAS and founder/President Jim Horowitz, will also be inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame at the annual event.

The event kicks-off on Friday, Aug. 29 with one of the biggest rock bands in the world, Imagine Dragons, the diamond-certified GRAMMY Award-winning Las Vegas band that continues to redefine rock in the 21st century, filling stadiums and breaking records at every turn.

Los Angeles trio Cannons will open for Imagine Dragons. Cannons elevate alternative/electro-pop to a neon stratosphere with nocturnal production and visual sensibility equally suited to Studio 54 or a summer festival.

On Saturday, Aug. 30, rock icon Lenny Kravitz will headline in his second JAS appearance, having previously played the event ten years ago. Regarded as one of the preeminent rock musicians of our time, Lenny Kravitz has transcended genre, style, race, and class over the course of a three decade-plus musical career.

Prior to Lenny, eight-piece soul/pop band Lawrence will make their JAS debut. The band, led by siblings Clyde and Gracie Lawrence, has gained a devoted following for its high-energy, keyboard-driven sound, which features tight, energetic horns and explosive lead vocals. Oregon-born singer/songwriter Max McNown will open the day on Saturday.

Multi-platinum, award-winning artist Luke Combs, will headline the closing night of the festival on Sunday, August 31st. Two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, Combs is one of the most influential and popular country music artists today.

The Marcus King Band, is slated to open for Combs. King, known for his electrifying jam-rock performances, will be making his first appearance at JAS, following another new face to the JAS stage, Grace Bowers and Hodge Podge. Bowers is an 18-year old, award-winning guitarist, songwriter and bandleader who Rolling Stone calls “Nashville’s new guitar hero.”
