After selling out JAS Blind Faith passes in record time (just 3-days) JAS Aspen Snowmass has announced three acts for the 2017 Labor Day Experience in Snowmass. Maroon 5, Keith Urban and Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats are all schedule to perform over the three-day event taking place September 1st through 3rd at Snowmass Town Park. Three-day event passes will be on-sale Monday, December 19th beginning at 9am mst.

Maroon 5 has been at the top of the list of most requested bands at JAS for the last three years. Born and bred in Los Angeles, with their catchy hooks, soaring vocals, and signature sound, Maroon 5 has solidified their position as one of pop music’s most enduring artists. The band captured their first of three Grammy Awards as “Best New Artist” in 2005 and have gone on to sell more than 17 million albums worldwide. Maroon 5’s current album, V, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart and features the hit singles “Maps,” “Animals” and “Sugar,” all of which hit #1 on the Top 40 chart. Most recently, Maroon 5 tallied its 12th Hot 100 Top 10 with their current smash hit single “Don’t Wanna Know” featuring Kendrick Lamar. This debut solidified Maroon 5 as the most successful group in the Hot 100’s chart history.

Keith Urban made his JAS debut in 2013, a heroic performance in which he performed on acoustic guitar during a steady downpour prior to his band being able to join him. “Keith’s show that day was without a doubt one of the greatest ever, in the history of JAS,” says JAS Executive Director Jim Horowitz, “he cast a spell, it was sheer magic. Singing song after song with the word “rain” in the title. We all forgot it was actually raining! Keith is the real deal, we are honored to have him coming back.” The four-time Grammy winner returns with his “ripCORD World Tour” following the spring 2016 release of his eighth studio album, RIPCORD. The album has already produced multiple #1 singles including “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,” “Break On Me,” and “Wasted Time.”

The JAS Shows will be the only Colorado appearances for both Maroon 5 and Keith Urban in 2017.

Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats self-titled album practically explodes with deep, primal and ecstatic soulfulness. This stunning work isn’t just soul stirring, it’s also soul baring, and the combination is absolutely devastating to behold. You don’t just listen to the record – you experience it.

This is the earliest announcement and on-sale of JAS Labor Day weekend artists in JAS history. The organization plans to announce the remaining line-up early next year.
